Everyone wishes exercise worked faster. That includes anyone from fitness buffs who are frustrated with not getting the perfect six-pack abs to new gym members who want speedy results. That’s where truSculpt Flex can help you achieve your ideal physique.

truSculpt Flex is a non-invasive treatment to firm and tone muscles. It can increase muscle density and create a more defined look. The treatment is customizable to provide results that are in line with your personal appearance and fitness goals.

How Does truSculpt Flex Work?

The truSculpt Flex device uses a technology called multi-directional stimulation (MDS) to target muscles and trigger them to contract. The device emits pulses of low-level energy that cause rapid muscle contractions that are more intense and affect deeper muscles than working out would do.1 This is a safe, scientifically supported method of body sculpting.2

The treatment causes microscopic tears in the muscle fibers. The body then uses a natural process called hypertrophy to repair the tears and heal the muscles. This process builds muscle size, increases strength, and creates visible muscle tone.3

What to Expect During a truSculpt Flex Treatment

During a truSculpt Flex session, your provider will apply up to 16 handpieces to eight different areas of your body. You’ll feel a sensation of muscles contracting, twitching, or tingling. Most people do not find it painful.

The device will cycle through three modes, which affect muscles in different ways:4

  • Prep mode: This stimulates a twisting motion to warm muscles up.
  • Tone mode: This causes muscles to contract and hold to increase endurance and build strength.
  • Sculpt mode: This triggers full muscle contractions, which builds muscle mass.

The treatment lasts about 15 minutes, and you should feel fine immediately after. There is no downtime after a treatment. However, you may have muscle soreness that feels similar to after an intense workout. Some people experience redness where the handpieces are affixed to the skin.5

When Can I See the Results of truSculpt Flex Treatments?

Most people start with a series of four treatments over a period of 2 weeks. Some people see results after the first two treatments. You should be able to maintain results with a consistent fitness routine and follow-up treatments every 2 to 3 months.6

The truSculpt targets muscles and does not reduce fat. If you have areas with significant fat above the muscle, results may not be visible. truSculpt Flex is not recommended for people who are pregnant or people who have heart problems, pacemakers or other implanted medical devices, a history of seizure disorder or epilepsy, cancer, or swollen, infected, or inflamed skin.7

The truSculpt Flex cost per treatment varies. On average, a session can cost anywhere from $500 to $1000. Some providers offer packages for multiple sessions, which can reduce the truSculpt Flex price treatment.8
